Blox 3D Preview Tool

The game has hundreds of building blox (objects that can be joined together to create structures with), these can be accessed by a blox menu. The 2D blox icons were deemed not enough to effectively judge the shape and size of the blox, so a 3D preview was wanted. Because of the variety of blox we needed a way to choose the orientation and position of the blox and camera.
This tool provides this and also groups as many similar blox shapes and sizes together that it can, this prevents laborious repeated data entries.
Once the previews are all set up, the data is converted to a runtime appropriate format so it can be used in-game.

Breakdown of the 3D Preview Tool. The tool is used to input data about how the blox and camera should be positioned and oriented. Blox are grouped where possible to reduce data input, but can be split from a group if needed. Saved data is used at runtime.
