This is the exterior of the building the Sentient game took place inside. I designed and built the entire building layout in modular self contained blocks. This helped the camera have more freedom in its movement, and gameplay could be focused on individual rooms or apartments while the rest of the building was ignored.
Each section was meant to represent a different class of people, from the super rich in the penthouse to the impoverished in the sub basement under street level (not seen here as was never properly planned out).

Sentient was a project from Stormcloud Games that never went past the prototype stage before being shelved for another project.
It was meant to be a story driven game based in a multi story building exploring the class differences in wealth. You took the role of a building management AI observing the people living there though building cameras.
